There is the move by the federal and state governments to convert no fewer than 24 polytechnics and colleges of education to universities in Nigeria. One of these Polythecnics is Rufus Giwa Polythecnic, Owo, Ondo State.
Hence the initiative by Francis Adegbehingbe & Co. Inv. Nig. Ltd. to have a hostel structure constructed within a walking distance of the institution
